Police Engagement Evening ~ Tuesday 8th January 2019 7pm

Inspector Selvarajah, Norfolk Constabulary

I am the Inspector responsible for local policing across Diss, Harleston and Long Stratton.

On Tuesday 8th January 2019 we will hold our next public meeting at Long Stratton Village Hall, Ipswich Road, Long Stratton between 7 and 9pm. Town and Parish Clerks and Councillors, the public and local media are invited to take part in this engagement event.

The evening will open with refreshments and introductions followed by a short presentation on what your local police do. We will then look to break off into groups with your Beat Manager, Neighbourhood Sergeant and myself. The participation of Clerks and Councillors is paramount as not every issue raised is a police matter.

Engagement in Norfolk means a process of enabling the participation of citizens and communities in policing at their chosen level. This is an opportunity for you to participate in this event which we hold every six months. Have your say and help us better understand what policing means to you and your community.

I look forward to seeing you.

Kind regards

Inspector Selvarajah
